King's Lynn celebrates HANSA20 anniversary

This year, King's Lynn is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the town's membership of the Union of Cities THE HANSA. Under the umbrella brand HANSA20, Hansa-themed activities are being organised throughout the year. A Hanseatic mural designed together with children is being created in the town centre, a brand new interpretation board on the South Quay provides information about the history of the Hanseatic League, and there is also plenty to discover in the King's Lynn Tourist Information Centre.

The highlight of the anniversary year is the King's Lynn Hanse Festival on 14 and 15 June.
