By sending the contact form or an email to us, you agree to the processing and storage of your entered data (in particular your email address). You decide yourself whether to enter this data. Your personal data will not be linked or matched with other data, but will only be used for the purpose you have requested. Your personal data will be deleted as soon as the purpose for storing it no longer applies. The legal basis for the use of the data you provide by contacting us is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 letter a) DSGVO (consent of the data subject). You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future.


5. Plugins and tools from third parties

We use third-party services on our website, for example plugins or APIs (Application Programming Interface), in order to expand the functionality of our website. In doing so, data may be transmitted to the provider of these services. In detail, we use the following services:

OpenStreetMaps via CartoDB Inc.
We use the open source map service "OpenStreetMaps" (also referred to as "OSM") from the OpenStreetMap Foundation, 132 Maney Hill Road, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B72 1JU, United Kingdom to display geodata. OSM is used to provide an interactive map on our website that shows you information about the location and accessibility of the Hanseatic cities. This service enables us to present our website in an attractive and user-friendly way by loading map material from an external server. The following data is transferred to the OSM servers during the display: the one of our web pages that you have visited and the IP address of your terminal device. The legal basis for the processing of your data in relation to the "OSM" service is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter f) DSGVO (legitimate interest in data processing). The legitimate interest results from our need for an appealing and user-friendly presentation of our online offer and the easy findability of the places indicated on our homepage. YouTube
Our website uses plugins from the YouTube site operated by Google. The operator of the site is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. 
If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. YouTube is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Social media
Our contains external links to pages of the social networks Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. We have no influence on whether these providers comply with data protection regulations.

Matomo
In order to evaluate and, if necessary, improve the use of our website, statistics are collected using the open source web analysis service Matomo (formerly Piwik). Matomo uses so-called "cookies". These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. For this purpose, the information generated by the cookie about the use of this website is stored on our server. The IP address is anonymised before storage. Matomo cookies remain on your terminal device until you delete them. Matomo cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website will not be passed on to third parties. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

In this case, an opt-out cookie will be stored in your browser, which prevents Matomo from storing usage data.
