Despite rain, wind and breakdowns: the HanseTreck has reached its destination! After a tour on cargo bikes from Einbeck to Lübeck, the trek arrived in front of Lübeck's town hall on Saturday, July 6. It was welcomed by Senator Pia Steinrücke and Lübeck's Member of Parliament Bruno Hönel.

With 30-60 participants, the trek traveled the traditional trade route for more than a week, stopping off in several Hanseatic cities, including Alfeld, Hanover, Uelzen and Lüneburg. In addition to the export hit "Einbecker Bier", the travelers also had a range of sustainable products from the Hanseatic cities in their luggage. The trek was warmly welcomed in all of the cities, setting an example not only for sustainable mobility, but also for exchange and encounters within the Hansa.

Initiator Patricia Keil summed it up at the end: "THANK YOU for the dynamism, passion and creativity of the people who live along the 370-kilometre route and made the HanseTreck what it was - sustainability on the move!"
