At the commission meeting, the host city presented its plans for next year's International Hanseatic Day:
The Hanseatic Day will take place in the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old Town, which is surrounded by a 3 kilometre-long medieval city wall. The entire city centre will be the setting for market stalls, stages and various spontaneous cultural events organised by the Hanseatic cities.
At the economic forum, well-known speakers will provide interesting insights into the green transition that is challenging cities and municipalities. The HANSEartWORKS exhibition will be dedicated to performance art. For the first time, the Hanseatic Day will also include an organ festival with the participation of musicians from the Hanseatic cities.
Delegations from the Hanseatic cities and all interested parties are warmly invited to come to Visby for the 25th International Hanseatic Day!
