Kyritz

On the way from Berlin to Hamburg, our almost 800-year-old Hanseatic town welcomes you with lovingly restored half-timbered houses and an impressive ensemble of buildings around the market square.  Here you will experience both history and fascinating stories. For over 100 years active holidaymakers have been drawn from the capital to the Untersee lake for swimming and boating - and to the island with its restaurant.

However, Kyritz is not only an attractive destination for excursions, but also a great place to live and work with a wide range of businesses, trades and services, schools, day-care centres, a hospital, an airfield and an active club life. In a very compact area Kyritz offers you everything you need for convenient living and at the same time gives you enough space for your own individual life.
