Boston

Boston is a thriving market and port city, trading with all of Europe. It also has a coastal fishing fleet. The city and all its tranquil streets stretch around the medieval marketplace. Boston not only has a fascinating trading history with the Hanseatic League, but it was from here that the founding settlers of the "other" Boston set out for the USA.

In the 13th century, the port of Boston was the second most important after London and a leader in the export of wool, when it was the main export in England.
