Every two years, Soest is the meeting place for medieval enthusiasts from all over Europe and the stage for a spectacular event of regional history with a thoroughly European dimension: The famous Soest Feud offers entertainment for the whole family, with "Storming the Wall", camps around the town and a ceremonial procession with 1,000 participants.
